APPOINTMENTS: Can be made with your preferred doctor. We do have fully bulk billed appointments available. Please advise the receptionist if you require a longer appointment. We will do our best to accommodate appointments for walk in patients, please call us and we can often arrange an appointment on the day.
SERVICES: Trinity Medical Centre offers a wide range of family health care services including men’s & women’s health, travel advice & immunisations, sick certificates, injury & wound management, mental health care, procedures such as Implanon insertion and iron infusion, and care plan management for chronic health conditions such as COPD, Diabetes, arthritis and heart disease. We offer a range of children’s health services including: pre-school checks; weight, eyesight & hearing checks; asthma action plans; and provide all scheduled childhood vaccinations. For any mental health care plan consultations or any complex requirements, we prefer you call the clinic to discuss before booking and appreciate your cooperation.
FEES: Some doctors are bulk-billing concession holders, and children 15 and under. All others will attract a $30 out of pocket fee. $50 out of pocket fee on weekends. We offer phone consults, on weekdays only. Bulk-billing does NOT apply in cases where Medicare rebates are unavailable (e.g. commercial driving medical examinations). An upfront fee of $50 – $150 (depending on type of consultation) is charged if you do not have a Medicare card. All procedures incur a $50 clinic fee, with full payment required on the day of the procedure (eg excision of skin lesions, Implanon insertion/removal).
AFTER HOURS & HOME VISITS: When our surgery is closed, please call us on 8249 2000 and your call is automatically diverted to the after-hours home doctor locum service. In the event of an emergency, please call “000”.
COMMUNICATION: Contact with the clinic is via phone call only. Email communication is discouraged, due to risk of patient data breach. If you need to contact a doctor, a message will be taken if the doctor is in consultation with a patient.
PATIENT CONFIDENTIALITY: Your health record is a confidential document. We will securely maintain your medical information & access is restricted to authorised staff members. Any patient documents must be collected in person at the practice, with photo ID presented.
TEST RESULTS: Need to be followed up with your doctor with a face to face or booked telephone consult (phone consults offered Monday to Friday only).
PRESCRIPTIONS & REFERRAL LETTERS: Require a face to face appointment or booked telephone consult (phone consults offered Monday to Friday only).
WORKCOVER & MOTOR VEHICLE CLAIMS: Are not seen at our clinic at this time.
OUR STAFF: Our friendly reception staff are available to make bookings & provide assistance. Our practice nurses perform childhood vaccinations & health care assessments daily.
DOCTORS: Are all Vocationally Registered & fulfil the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners requirements for continuing medical education & quality assurance.
